CONCERT WITH PÆL (DK)
EXPERIENCE THE SWOP-DANCE AND MUSIC LIVE
– with the youth who’ve created it
The local Roskilde band PÆL is behind this year’s SWOP music and will perform it live on Dansepladsen, accompanied by the SWOP dance.
PÆL met each other at Musikstarter 2025, where they participated in an intense music composition course, which which culminated in a concert at Gimle.
They’ve since released the track “Når verden vågner” (when the world wakes up) – a magnificent and intense rock ballad about unhealthy relations and change.
Their next release, “krøllet papir” (crumbled paper), is written specifically for SWOP Festival 2026. It’s a song about young friendships and about growing apart.
