Performance theater with a livestream from the neighborhood.

What’s going on next door? In NABO, the performers literally visit the neighbors of the theater.

The audience sits in a “mission-control room” at the theater and follow the performers on a mission in real life, via a direct link. Equipped with smartphones and selfie sticks, the performers attempt to pry stories from the intercom, or from underneath the hedge. The mission is to meet the neighbors in their familiar surroundings and to weave their life stories into a portrait of the city and the neighborhood we live in. What really goes on with the people who live right beside us? What are they thinking? And what are they doing? An entertaining, humoristic, and insightful performance.

Practical information

CAFE AND FOYER: Karibu opens the cafe in the theater foyer one hour before the performance starts and again after it ends. Here you can buy drinks and light snacks. Glasses and beverages may not be brought into the performance.

TICKETS: You do not need to print your tickets, but can show them electronically. Seats are unnumbered, and all have a good view.
Once the performance has started, we are unfortunately unable to admit latecomers.

GETTING THERE AND BACK: Aaben Dans at Musicon is easy to reach by train, bus, or bicycle. Follow the “Musicon path” from the south side of the station (where the hospital is located), which leads to Aaben Dans. It takes about 25 minutes to walk from the station. ACCESSIBILITY: Aaben Dans is located at street level with direct level access and allocated parking spaces in the immediate vicinity.
We ask that audience members with special needs contact us by email at billet@aabendans.dk or by phone at 35820610 before arriving. This will allow us to plan your visit together with you to ensure you have a pleasant and safe theater experience.

The performance lasts approximately 70 minutes.

MOBILE PHONES/FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHY: We ask that audience members set their mobile phones to flight mode. Photography and filming are not permitted during the performance.
