The Lost Ones…

Meet the band Dreamers´Circus and 5 dancers from Aaben Dans on stage in a sensory-saturated hybrid between live concert and dance performance.
A poetic and violent visual novel about an isolated island community. A place where wills, urges and longings collide in foaming waves. Here, the inhabitants are surrounded by a powerful and relentless nature where anything can happen. But even when man and nature show themselves from their most brutal side, we are connected.

Loosely based on the Faroese novel “The Lost Fiddlers” by William Heinesen, “The Lost…” throws words overboard and leaves the stage to music, body and light.

The impressive 90 meter long raw concrete casting hall creates the backdrop for an intoxicating journey through Nordic folk music and explosive dance.
De Fortabte… by Aaben Dans is produced with support from Augustinus Fonden, Roskilde Municipality, the Danish Arts Foundation’s Music Drama Committee – Cross-aesthetic projects for music and performing arts and the Wilhelm Hansen Foundation.

Practical information

Hal 9

Hal9 at Musicon is easy to get to by train, bus or bike. You can follow the “Musicon path” from the south side of the station (where the hospital is located) that leads to Musicon and Hal9. It is aproximately 20 minutes to walk from the station. Or you can take the bus (see https://rejseplanen.dk/ for details).

If you come by car, there are parking maps and rules at Musicon collected on this page…here…

Bar, doors open and seating

CAFE AND FOYER: Karibu opens the café in the foyer of Hal9 1 hour before the performance starts. Here you can buy cold and hot drinks and light snacks.

TICKETS, ENTRANCE AND UNALLOCATED SEATS: You don’t need to print your tickets, but can show them electronically. That way we save paper.
Doors open just before the performance starts. The audience will be seated together at the beginning of the performance. There are unallocated seats and all seats are good seats.

When the performance has started, unfortunately we cannot allow latecomers.

We kindly ask that audiences with special needs contact us by email billet@aabendans.dk or phone 35820610 before you come. Then we can plan your visit with you to make sure that you will have a good and comfortable theater experience.

Please note that there are different playing times as the performance follows the change of daylight.

HAL9: As it’s chilly in HAL9, we recommend the audience to wear warm clothes.
