Autumn of the Senses

On May 7-11 2026, dance once again filled the streets of Roskilde when Aaben Dans hosted the international dance festival SWOP 2026 for children and young people. With a strong festival programme with performances from both Denmark and abroad, marking Roskilde as a vibrant cultural city and with a focus on themes of inclusion and community, the performances tackled some of the big questions of our time.

Aaben Dans is a regional theatre in Roskilde and works with dance as  expression. We make cross-aesthetic and innovative performing arts at a high artistic level with the body at the center.
