Knotting Connections, Come-and-go (DK)

An interactive performance installation about tying ends together by Charlotte Østergaard and Lihn Le
Knots tie loose threads together. In a chaotic world where everybody can feel overwhelmed and uncertain, one may feel the need to be connected to themselves, those next to them and to the community.
The two artists Charlotte Østergaard, costume/textile designer and performance artist Linh Le create a large art piece with the children from Trekronerskolen, Absalons Skole and Baunehøjskolen.
The piece will be exhibited at Søjlepladsen, where everyone is invited to continue knotting in collaboration with the artists and the children. The materials used are primarily recycled textiles, making the large network colourful, vibrant and constantly evolving.
Schools must book an appointment and private individuals can drop by on weekends during opening hours.
Workshop May 4th 10.00-13.00 + 14.00-17.00 and May 5th 10.00-13.00 + 14.00-17.00 does NOT require booking a ticket. You may come and go as you please.
