The Lava Forest (NO)
A playful and fabulating performance in a sensuous scenography by Ingri Fiksdal.
Mysterious creatures grow out of the floor. Their backs are crooked, they have long tentacles and big heads. They wriggle and crawl, spin and fall. Are they visitors from another planet?
Children and adults sit around the stage and are close to the large colourful sea of textiles. As the creatures play with the materials, new shapes emerge and create images of places we have not yet been.
The Lava Forest is focused on giving the children and adults a sensorial experience that encourages them to further explore movement and dance. The thematic background of the performance is the climate crisis and how it affects the environment we live in.
