The Show for Young Men
A dance performance about caring masculinity and cohesion
Ole, 55, and Hans, 8, meet on a stage that is a cross between a construction site, a scrapyard, and a hillside. Together they dance, play, fight, and sing to find out what it means to be a man. That there are many ways to be brave and kind – as a boy or a man.
“a performance with quiet intelligence and enormous tenderness” – The Stage
The Show for Young Men is a fun and moving dance performance created for children from 8 years/2nd grade and up.
“This visually well-composed transgenerational physical performance work, using elements from dance and circus, often made the audience laugh out loud, but also moved some to tears.” Fringereview.co.uk
The performance was first shown at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe in Scotland in 2024. Now it is presented to Danish children in a version created with a Danish cast.
Come and experience a performance where dance, play and imagination create a world where caring and community are more important than anything else!
