What can it do – and what should it do? (DK)
A bubbly fresh physical performance with three dancers – four chairs – a lamp and a table.
The body can do all sorts of things
– but what should it do?
It has to sit properly!
This performance is a defence of creativity, curiosity and open-mindedness. It’s a fun and engaging invitation to exist in the physical world in a physical way.
To see, touch and listen to the world.
To lift it, kick it and move it around.
To explore your familiar surroundings – with yourself and with others.
The children sit on benches on all four sides of the dance floor. They are clearly excited by the dance. … ‘What can it do – and what should it do?’ is an original and rebellious dance performance that directly targets the common goals of the primary school with a twinkle in the eye and a desire to play. And with lots of infectious curiosity. Anne Middelboe, Teateravisen – read here
