Which tasks do I get as a volunteer?
As a volunteer, your tasks varies a lot. Examples of tasks:

Various practical tasks

It is possible to have a say in which tasks you’re assigned to.
Who can volunteer at the SWOP Festival?
Anyone can volunteer at the SWOP festival.
Persons under the age of 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
You must be able to speak either Danish or English. If you don’t speak Danish, please inform us in advance so we’re able to pair you with a volunteer who speaks both English and Danish.
Is it necessary for me to know anything about children or dance to volunteer?
No. You don’t need to know anything about dance or children to volunteer at the festival.
How can I volunteer with my friends/family?
There are many opportunities to volunteer with your friends/family at the festival.
If you wish to work together, please inform us in advance and we will attempt to accommodate your request.

What if I'm only able to volunteer at specific times?
As a volunteer, you’re able to influence your working hours. Inform us in advance and we will try to accommodate your wishes. Every volunteer is assigned at least 2 shifts of 4 hours each.
What happens if I get sick or can't show up for my shift?
If yoy are unable to show up for your shift, please notify our volunteer manager Danielle at danielle@aabendans.dk as quick as possible.
Can I volunteer if I have a disability?
Of course you can! But some tasks require full physical mobility, therefore we ask you to inform us in advance so we’re able to create a customised plan that suits everyone.
