Aaben Dans is looking for emerging and experienced dancers, choreographers and interdisciplinary movement based artists who would like to take part in Aabent Laboratorium the

21^st of November 2024 at Aaben Dans in Roskilde

Aabent Laboratorium is a platform for sharing choreographic works in a professional black box context. Aabent Laboratorium offers the possibility to share artistic work with an audience as a part of the artistic development. Aabent Laboratorium is a platform that embraces new ideas and new ways of working within the field of choreography.

Aaben Dans curates:

• Short finished works
• Choreographic works-in-progress that is quite far in the process
• The applicants should be based in Denmark

Aabent Laboratorium will provide:

• Rehearsal time and technical set-up
• A performance evening in the black box with audiences
• Facilitated feedback session amongst the artists, facilited by Thomas Eisenhardt
• A facilited after talk with the audience
• Basic technique, technician, stage, PR and meal
• A fee of min. 3000 Dkk per group
• Domestic travel support (max DKK 400 kr pr. person)

To apply you must be able to participate in the following programme:

Monday the 4^th of November, 10.00 – 11.30
Production meeting between the curated artists and Aaben Dans in Roskilde

Tuesday the 19th of November
Rehearsals in time sloths, technical set-up

Wednesday, the 20th of November, app. 10.00 – 15.00
Everybody in the venue for doing internal showing for each other and artistic feed-back – without tech

Thursday, the 21st of November – Full day + Performance evening at 19.30
10.00 – 16.00 rehearsals in time sloths
17.00: run through of full programme
18.00 Communal meal
19.30: Performance

– Send a description of the project you want to show Very important to state clearly the duration of the piece and technical wishes/requirements
– a CV of the involved artists + photo
– a video link to the work or former works
